Started by cutting off a head of a suitable turtle.
Resized the neck to fit the client's requested dimensions.
Cut the head into parts that would fit comfortable on printer.

Printed 12 pieces over ten days

No failures out of any of the 12 pieces

The insides proved interesting.

Had 2 build plates in use during this project.

Printed the neck piece first so that client could work on method to secure to the green house.

Client id a great job securing the bolts to neck. This head was not falling off.

Face was second portion to be completed
Awaiting final piece off the printer.

Alignment was not good with face and mid portion.

Using my Dremal I sanded and carved down the seams.

Lots of sanding was needed to remove the unsightly seams.

Since it was going to be exposed to the elements, several coats of paint were applied.

Finished product. Still some noticable lines but for first major project it came out alright.
